"These mashed potatoes are outstanding, easily the best in the area. The green beans are full of flavor, and the vegetable soup pairs perfectly with the fresh cornbread. The chocolate cake is incredibly good, and the breakfast is tasty and affordable. Go visit, enjoy the meal, and you will not regret it."

"My wife and I were in town for WoO World Finals, and I found this place before our trip. Glad I did, the food was great (fyi, the hot cakes are huge!) I also had an western omelette and my wife had a grilled cheese with fries. Our waiter Clarence was very friendly and provided outstanding service as well. We would definitely like to visit again if we are in Kannapolis."

"Food was great and our waitress, Karen, was the BEST! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They serve breakfast all day. My husband had their country ham plate with 2 fried eggs, 2 big fluffy biscuits and a huge bowl of grits. I had the baked chicken special with green beans and potato salad and a roll. My sister-in-law (birthday girl got a piece of the peanut butter pie and said it was yummy) had the meatloaf, green beans, pinto beans with onions and a 2 pieces of cornbread. Everything was served fresh and hot and portion sizes were good. We each had water. Our total bill WITH dessert was only $31.00!!! You can't beat that price! Highly recommended!"

"This was as we expected. It was on par with the majority of past reviews. Local diner, good wait staff and overall good food. My wife had the grilled cheese and we split a large fry. I had the Townhouse burger and a pancake. She said the grilled cheese coukd of been crispier and the cheese wasn't very melted and the fries could of been left in the fryer longer to give them a little more crisp and to soften them up. My pancake and burger with crispy bacon were very good. Just little minor things that kept us from giving food & atmosphere a 5. Sorry, no pics, forgot to take them."

"Tried this place out on a wonderful Autumn afternoon and was met with a cozy diner with very friendly staff. Got a Townhouse Burger, and it hit all the right spots. Onions were a little chunky, but that's alright, the leftover chunks paired well with fries and ketchup. They also have changing specials throughout the week, which I'm looking forward to trying the meatloaf out sometime!"

"This is an old-school diner, and the only issue I had was that it was hot. But the breakfast was good and cheaply priced. The service was fantastic, and these guys don't mess around. They move like they are on a mission. It looks cluttered but surprisingly comfortable. I will return. Keep in mind that the pace looks and feels a little dated, but for the price, it's worth it. For reference, I've attached an image of one of the pancakes I ordered. It was good."

"Party of six, ordered breakfast items, entrees with sides, and chef salads. All our food was reasonably priced and good. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food however was delivered at different intervals which is not usually the case here."
